Steven & Elizabeth
Steven & Elizabeth contacted me after I had photographed a cousins sweet 16 portraits. Elizabeth had booked me for engagement photos for their save the dates!
Engagement sessions help build a great relationship with me and the clients. It gives me a sense of the couple together. Steven had his younger sisters with him to help carry some props and help assist me in posing.
The chemistry between the two was definitely visible and they both photographed amazing together. Talk about picture perfect.
We talked about how the two met and the two had been neighbors when they were younger and as people do, one of them moved away. But the family had been connected and the two had reconnected again when they were adults and its like that Cory & Topanga love!
After our session we kept in contact and they eventually booked me for their wedding. Becoming pregnant this year was my biggest surprise and I had hoped I would stay full term with my daughter. Elizabeth was nervous I wouldn't make it, so for the last two weddings, I made sure I hired a second camera to help me.
The big day was finally here and I was pushing 37 weeks pregnant but business is business and I needed to deliver.
Met with the bride and had a pow-wow of what she needs from me.
The grooms party was an eclectic group and so much fun to work with.
The bridesmaids were up next and they came to play and support their best girl. I definitely enjoyed watching their personalities show up on camera.
One of the requests was the "first look" photos of her seeing her father before he walked her down the aisle. Her father gave us the best reaction and Elizabeth did her best to hold back those tears.
And then it was time for the ceremony.
Steven and his parents walked out together.
The entire wedding party had an amazing color scheme. I loved the coordination with the colors they picked out.
The look in Steven's eyes as he watched Elizabeth walk down that aisle, is something out of a Nicholas Sparks Movie. And the way Elizabeth looked back at him continued to show the beautiful and strong chemistry they both shared.
Sealed with a kiss, the new Mr & Mrs Ybarra!
Arm in arm as they take their first steps as man and wife.
The wedding party posing and holding photographs of passed family members who could be with us in spirit.
We chased the light, time was running out so we definitely pushed the family to give us there all before we had no more sunlight.
Next was the celebration of the newlyweds
I definitely ended the 2018 year on a high note. I am so thankful I was able to take part in this wonderful celebration with this group of friends and family.
Congratulations to the Mr & Mrs Ybarra and cheers on the next chapter.
